In 1019 B.C., a young man by the name of David killed a giant of a man called Goliath. In this Old Testament Biblical story we find a lesson of true courage and faith. David was greatly overmatched by a man who scared even an entire army. But David had faith in God that when things looked impossible and futile, with God on your side, nothing is impossible.
We as conservatives who love America find ourselves in a similar situation.
The liberal Goliath seems to have everything on his side. He controls the press. He controls the educational system. And he controls the popular culture – or so it would seem. But the unassailability of the liberal Goliath is just an illusion. We can defeat him if we try. It will take courage however. And it will take faith that God is on the side of the righteous, and not on the side of the politically correct. Goliath has frightened us all for way too long. It’s time to gather our sling and our courage and vote for freedom.
For as the story in the Bible teaches us it’s not the might that ultimately wins – but it’s the righteous – no matter how overmatched they may be.
